Providence Grove won against Wheatmore on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Warriors 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Grant Underwood was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Providence Grove's record now sits at 10-12. As for Wheatmore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
