Soccer Game Preview: Hazleton Area vs. Dallas

Hazleton Area hasn't had much luck against Dallas recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountaineers at 4:15 p.m.

Hazleton Area lost 6-2 to Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Hazleton Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 395th, while Wilkes-Barre are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Dallas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Pittston. Winning may never get old, but Dallas sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Hazleton Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Dallas, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
