Hilton Head Island came into Thursday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Colleton County Cougars 3-0 on Thursday. The Seahawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hilton Head Island took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 25-13.

Hilton Head Island's victory bumped their record up to 8-24. As for Colleton County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
