Dane Sprigler leads a balanced attack to beat Bloomington South

Recap: Silver Creek Dragons vs. Bloomington South Panthers

Even though the Silver Creek Dragons have not done well against the Bloomington South Panthers recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Silver Creek walked away with a 60-52 win over Bloomington South. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Silver Creek.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Silver Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dane Sprigler, who scored 15 points. Sprigler continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kasen Daeger, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Silver Creek's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Bloomington South, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Creek and Salem will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Salem is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Bloomington South, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. Mitchell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Bloomington South is ranked 96th).
