Baseball Recap: Thayer Comes Up Short

Thayer fell victim to Licking and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bobcats were not able to get on the board.

Thayer's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Licking, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.

Thayer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Licking, they will take on Fair Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
