Basketball Game Preview: Wagner Red Raiders vs. Sioux Valley Cossacks

Having just played yesterday, the Wagner Red Raiders will jump right back in to play the Sioux Valley Cossacks at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Wagner heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 76-37 loss at the hands of Mahpiya Luta. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Raiders have suffered since January 14th.

Meanwhile, Sioux Valley faced Dakota Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Sioux Valley fell 65-57 to Dakota Valley. The Cossacks' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Sioux Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5.
