Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity Christian). They blew past the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees 60-29 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-30 last Friday.

Despite the loss, Clay-Battelle saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ali Hellyer went 7 for 15 on her way to 19 points and six boards. Hellyer is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Bre DeBolt, who posted seven points.

The win made it two in a row for Trinity Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Clay-Battelle, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Trinity Christian will venture away from home to challenge Magnolia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Clay-Battelle, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Morgantown Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
