Volleyball Recap: Whitnall Falls Short of New Berlin Eisenhower in the Playoffs

Whitnall and New Berlin Eisenhower squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Whitnall had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered since October 10, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-14.

Sophia Tralongo paced Whitnall's offense, picking up nine kills. Tralongo got some help from Gabrielle Wynn and her 20 assists. Finally, Kennedy Dezur kept Whitnall's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

New Berlin Eisenhower found their leader in sophomore Aubrey Aide, who had ten digs and two assists.

Whitnall dropped their record down to 17-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 24-12 record.

Whitnall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Grafton on the 25th.
