Basketball Game Preview: Polytechnic Parrots vs. North Side Steers

The Polytechnic Parrots will face off against the North Side Steers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Polytechnic came up short against Wyatt and fell 54-46. The Parrots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Paschal and fell 92-28. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Steers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Polytechnic will have to contain Emmitt Washington as he made an impact in North Side's last game. He posted eight points and seven boards. Washington is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Joshua Olufade was another key player, putting up seven points.

North Side's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Polytechnic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.
