Basketball Recap: Lucas Reynolds and Jean Viterlens Joseph Secure Win for Edison

Edison lost to Booker T. Washington back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Edison Red Raiders managed a 57-53 win over the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes. The Red Raiders didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Leading Edison to victory were Jean Viterlens Joseph and Lucas Reynolds. Joseph dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards, while Reynolds went 5 for 9 en route to 16 points. Steven Juarez was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Edison's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Booker T. Washington, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-17.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Edison has already played their next game (against Ransom Everglades), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Booker T. Washington will take on Immaculata-La Salle on Monday. Booker T. Washington is facing Immaculata-La Salle at the right time seeing as Immaculata-La Salle is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
