 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kayla Goode, who  went 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Katelyn Wenzel, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 Hendersonville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  7-1  win vs. Watertown on the 14th. Portland has also already played their next matchup,  a  3-2  defeat against Riverdale on the 14th.
