Last Friday, Hoover was able to grind out a solid win over Perry, taking the game 60-51. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Panthers are ranked 233rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McKinley). They walked away with an 87-78 victory over Jackson on Saturday.
