Basketball Recap: Columbia's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Columbia waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 70-65 W against the Eau Claire Shamrocks. This was a revenge game for the Capitals: when they faced off against the Shamrocks back in January, they had to take a 59-54 loss.

Despite the loss, Eau Claire still got an impressive performance from Manny Davis, who posted 17 points and five boards. Davis' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Gregory Williams, who earned six points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Eau Claire, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Columbia nor Eau Claire have any future games scheduled.
