Flag Football Game Preview: San Pedro Pirates vs. Banning Pilots

The San Pedro Pirates will face off against the Banning Pilots at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (San Pedro 9.8, Banning 9.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

San Pedro's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They took down King/Drew 19-0. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 296th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Banning waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 12-0.

San Pedro's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Banning, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
