Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Greensville County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Broncos came up short against the Eagles, falling 22-5. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raigen Maslowski, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-2. As for Greensville County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Greensville County will venture away from home to face off against Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles face off against Sussex Central, they'll take on Franklin again at 4:30 p.m. on May 8.
