That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
Putnam wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brooks Bower, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
Tuscarawas Central Catholic's record now sits at 0-13. As for Conotton Valley, their record is now 10-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tuscarawas Central Catholic has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Conotton Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
