Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pasco). They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the South Sumter Raiders on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for Pasco as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

They hit South Sumter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Peyton Wheatley (5), Isabella Aponte (2), Nadia Tesar, and Ava Burns.

Pasco's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for South Sumter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pasco will venture away from home to square off against Wesley Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Sumter, they will head out to face off against Lake Weir at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Sumter will be up against Lake Weir's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.83 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
