Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Justin-Siena). They walked away with a 70-58 victory over the El Capitan Gauchos on Thursday.

El Capitan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was AJ Jones, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Jones is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Zach Owens, who posted 13 points and five boards.

The win got Justin-Siena back to even at 2-2. As for El Capitan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Justin-Siena has already played their next game, a 67-57 loss against Franklin on the 5th. As for El Capitan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-39 victory against Fairfield on the 5th.
