Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was the 50-40 winner over Twinsburg when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Roosevelt Rough Riders opened the new year with a less-than-successful 54-45 loss to the Twinsburg Tigers. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Twinsburg, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Roosevelt will square off against Barberton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt is facing Barberton at the right time seeing as Barberton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Twinsburg, they will take on Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hudson will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Twinsburg surely won't give up without a fight.
