Volleyball Recap: Ludlowe Falcons vs. St. Joseph Cadets

Ludlowe had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Everything went their way against the St. Joseph Cadets as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 loss the Cadets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

While Ludlowe might've won, it sure wasn't easy: St. Joseph scored at least 16 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-6, 25-16.

Ludlowe was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Joseph only served four.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from Kelli Ennis, who had 11 kills and four digs. Ennis is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had nine or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Pason, who had 18 assists.

Ludlowe pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for St. Joseph, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Ludlowe will head out on the road to face off against Warde at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warde will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ludlowe surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Joseph, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Trumbull at 3:30 p.m.
