Brookstone waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Glenwood Gators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Brookstone had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 29-27, 15-11.

Carsyn Galligan paced Brookstone's offense, picking up 15 kills. Galligan got some help from Evangeline Gutierrez and her 16 assists.

Brookstone's win bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Glenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-17.

Looking ahead, Brookstone will take on First Presbyterian Day at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glenwood, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Central on the 30th.
