Dawson waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Manvel Mavericks 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-12.

Sloane Ranney paced Dawson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Ranney got some help from Taylor Ranney and her 21 assists. Avery Koonsen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dawson's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Manvel, their loss ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 22-9.

Dawson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lake Creek on the 26th. As for Manvel, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Dobie on the 26th.
