Basketball Recap: Washington Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Washington came tearing into Thursday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Milwaukee Madison Knights as they made off with a 100-78 win. The Purgolders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Solomon Dotson led the charge by putting up 30 points. The matchup was Dotson's fifth in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Arnold Smith, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
