Softball Game Preview: Clarkrange Buffaloes vs. Livingston Academy Wildcats

The Clarkrange Buffaloes will head out to challenge the Livingston Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Clarkrange didn't have quite enough to beat Red Boiling Springs and fell 7-6.

Peyton Young made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Callie Upchurch was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Livingston Academy hadn't done well against Upperman recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Livingston Academy had just enough and edged out Upperman 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Allie Reams made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
