Football Game Preview: Ogden vs. Eagle Grove

After two weeks on the road, Eagle Grove is heading back home. On Friday they take on Ogden at 7:00 PM. Eagle Grove are limping into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Eagle Grove ended up forfeiting their match against Madrid 0-2 last Friday.

Meanwhile, Ogden fought the good fight in their overtime contest but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They and Pocahontas were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 21-22 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Having both suffered close losses, both of these teams will no doubt be fighting for every inch to win this one. We'll see if Eagle Grove are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting game than their last) when the teams meet up.
