It was a good run, but the Midtown Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Wednesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 53-38 to Stockbridge.

The matchup was Bockman's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sinclair Richman, who scored ten points along with three steals.

Midtown struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Stockbridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carrington Wilson out in front who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Fulks, who scored 16 points along with three steals.

Midtown's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-1. As for Stockbridge, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midtown will take on Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: C'India Dennis and Bockman. As for Stockbridge, they will be playing at home against Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hampton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 430th, while Stockbridge is ranked 46th).
