After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Person, Garner was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Garner was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-5.

Sophie Raymond paced Garner's offense, picking up four kills. Raymond got some help from Haley Heath and her nine assists. Savannah Wilkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

The win got Garner back to even at 4-4. As for Southeast Raleigh, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garner will head out to take on Willow Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southeast Raleigh, they will take on Fuquay - Varina at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
