Softball Recap: Chavez Find Success

Chavez won the last time they faced Ridgeview and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans came out on top against the Wolf Pack by a score of 11-7.

Chavez got a massive performance out of Zoe Chavez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave Chavez a new career-high. SUSIE MARTINEZ was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Chavez's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Ridgeview, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Chavez will welcome Delano at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.9 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of. Ridgeview has already played their next game (against Coalinga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
