With a playoff win on the line, Valley Regional rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Morgan Huskies. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won 18 matchups in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Helen Manco and Nia Marchese, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Kellyn Kolber and her 27 assists. Josephina McGee controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Morgan's loss came despite strong showings from Kendra Brown and Addy Beck. Brown had 11 digs and two aces, while Beck had seven digs. Brown has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Valley Regional's victory bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Coming up, Valley Regional will take on Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
