It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jesuit can now relate to. They took a hard 42-28 fall against the West Linn Lions on Friday. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Jack Wilson and Luke Ortner certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wilson threw for 217 yards and two TDs, while Ortner rushed for 166 yards and one touchdown. Ortner's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 8-3. As for West Linn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Linn, they will take on Central Catholic on Friday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
