Gallia Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Vinton County Vikings. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

Gallia Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Vinton County, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gallia Academy will venture away from home to challenge Dawson-Bryant at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
