Softball Recap: LEAP Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Camden two weeks ago, LEAP Academy came back down to earth. The Lancers lost 17-1 to the Cape May County Tech Hawks on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.

LEAP Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cape May County Tech, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Looking ahead, LEAP Academy will head out on the road to challenge Trenton Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers are facing the Tornadoes at the right time seeing as the Tornadoes are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Cape May County Tech, they will host Wildwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
