Basketball Recap: Apache Comes Up Short

Apache lost against Mangum back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Apache Warriors fell 45-34 to the Mangum Tigers. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Apache's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mangum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Apache will square off against Big Pasture at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Apache is facing Big Pasture at the right time seeing as Big Pasture is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Mangum, they will take on Merritt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mangum will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
