Volleyball Game Preview: Blair Blazers vs. Rockville Rams + Official Tickets

The Blair Blazers will face off against the Rockville Rams at 6:29 p.m. on Wednesday. Blair will be strutting in after a win while Rockville will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Blair made easy work of Damascus and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blazers.

Blair's got stronger as the match went on, holding Damascus to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Rockville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Richard Montgomery on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Rockville ultimately came up short, they really made Richard Montgomery work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 25-8.

Blair's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Rockville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Blair's way against Rockville when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Blair made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Blazers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
