Soccer Recap: Lakeside Christian Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Lakeside Christian after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Pinellas Park Patriots by a score of 2-1. The defeat leaves the Lions without a win on the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Coral Morris, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lakeside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pinellas Park, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Lakeside Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-1 win against Sports Leadership & Management on the 13th. Pinellas Park has also already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Patel on the 14th.
