Soccer Recap: North Fort Myers Comes Up Short

North Fort Myers lost against Mariner back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Fort Myers Red Knights lost 3-0 to the Mariner Tritons. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Red Knights couldn't quite close it out.

North Fort Myers dropped their record down to 2-8-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mariner, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

North Fort Myers will welcome Island Coast at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. North Fort Myers is facing Island Coast at the right time seeing as Island Coast is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mariner, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Berkeley Prep on the 14th.
