Baseball Game Preview: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Mission Hills Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Sage Creek will face off against Mission Hills. The Bobcats will face off against the Grizzlies at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sage Creek has three straight victories, Mission Hills has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Sage Creek's win against Mission Hills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats never let the Grizzlies get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday.

Not much got past Hudson Jahries, who gave up just three hits to keep Mission Hills off the board. Jahries has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aiden Vogel was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Rangel, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Mission Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Sage Creek, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
