Basketball Recap: Ellsworth Comes Up Short

Ellsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The match between them and the Prescott Cardinals didn't end well, with the Ellsworth Panthers falling 51-36. The Panthers were probably out for revenge after losing 63-52 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Prescott, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Ellsworth will welcome Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prescott, they will head out to challenge Baldwin-Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Baldwin-Woodville will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Prescott surely won't give up without a fight.
