Volleyball Game Preview: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Hunter Wolverines

The Grantsville Cowboys will head out on the road to challenge the Hunter Wolverines at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Grantsville will be strutting in after a victory while Hunter will be coming in after a loss.

If Tooele wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grantsville, they should've done a better job of containing Tyse Fuentes. Grantsville was the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Tooele on Tuesday thanks in part to Fuentes, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last ten matches.

Grantsville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Tooele between 15 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Hunter came up short against Fremont on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win snapped Grantsville's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record. As for Hunter, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
