Recap: Jonesboro Cardinals vs. Banneker Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archer, the Jonesboro Cardinals were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Banneker 58-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jonesboro also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Jonesboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Naislyvia Pringle, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds. Pringle hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Christian Wright, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds.
Jonesboro now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Banneker, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Jonesboro won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Greater Atlanta Christian at 10:00 a.m. on November 25th. Banneker's road trip will continue as they head out to face Newnan at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th.
