Basketball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Comes Up Short

Wonewoc-Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 42-33 to the Brookwood Falcons. The Wolves were probably out for revenge after losing 62-56 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wonewoc-Center's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Brookwood, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wonewoc-Center will venture away from home to challenge Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsboro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Brookwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Kickapoo at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
