Recap: Victory Christian Lions vs. Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles
The Victory Christian Lions had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past Jefferson Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. This was payback for Victory Christian, who suffered a 78-54 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Victory Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Scott out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Scott hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Caden Brunson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Victory Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
