Basketball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 86-69 fall against the Chardon Hilltoppers. The Rangers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hilltoppers earlier this season, when they won 73-49.

Despite the loss, North still got an impressive performance from Nate Tadiello, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 rebounds. That was a full 40.6% of North's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Nate Sagendorph was another key player, putting up 11 points.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Chardon, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will host Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season. As for Chardon, they will challenge Mayfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Chardon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
