Lisbon extends road losing streak to four

The Lisbon Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Northern Cass 66-37. Lisbon has not had much luck with Northern Cass recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Lisbon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kyra Haecherl. Despite the final result, she scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Lisbon struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Lisbon's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Northern Cass, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lisbon's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oak Grove Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Oak Grove Lutheran has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14. As for Northern Cass, they will head out on the road to square off against Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Dakota (Grafton is ranked 45th, while Northern Cass is ranked 43rd).
