Soccer Game Preview: Melrose vs. Douglass

The Melrose Golden Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Douglass Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Melrose's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Melrose fell victim to Craigmont and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Douglass was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to Lakeland Preparatory. The loss continues a trend for Douglass in their meetings with Lakeland Preparatory: they've now lost four in a row.

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Melrose, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
