Baseball Game Preview: Westwood Warriors vs. Mountain View Toros

The Westwood Warriors will head out to face off against the Mountain View Toros at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Westwood came up short against Mountain View and fell 7-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Mountain View's part, Lincoln Arrington looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Arrington a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

At the plate, Brady Goodman was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ryan Person, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Mountain View, they moved to 12-9 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
