Baseball Game Preview: Park Vista Cobras vs. Jupiter Warriors

Park Vista is 8-2 against Jupiter since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cobras will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Park Vista will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Friday, Park Vista earned an 8-3 win over Palm Beach Central.

Aidan Hock looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He also put up four hits, which were his first of the season.

On the hitting side, Will Bavaro was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Espinoza, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Jupiter won against Royal Palm Beach on Wednesday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over Dwyer. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Jupiter got a massive performance out of Gabe Graulau, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Colton Schwarz was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.

Park Vista pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Jupiter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Park Vista beat Jupiter 5-2 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cobras since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
