Volleyball Game Preview: Sweeny Bulldogs vs. Needville Bluejays + How To Watch

Sweeny is 0-10 against Needville since August of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Sweeny sitting on four straight victories and Needville on 16.

On Friday, Sweeny was able to grind out a solid win over Columbia, taking the game 3-1.

Sweeny had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-17, 25-11, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Needville got the win against Brazosport on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Sweeny's record now sits at 29-8. As for Needville, their record is now 37-4.

Sweeny might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Needville in their previous meeting on October 3rd. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
