Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caledonia-Mumford). They blew past the Mount Morris Blue Devils 13-3 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Tyler Potter made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Potter was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Dillon Alcott was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Metzger, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Caledonia-Mumford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Caledonia-Mumford's record now sits at 4-10. As for Mount Morris, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Caledonia-Mumford beat the Blue Devils by a score of 3-0 later that day.
