Football Recap: Perry Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Perry faced Basha in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Pumas were beaten by the Bears 52-3. The Pumas have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Kael Snyder threw for 118 yards on ten of 24 attempts. Amos Augustine was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards.

Jake Rogers went supernova For Basha., throwing for 340 yards and four TDs while completing 84% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Rogers a new career-high in passer rating (163.8). Jaden Baldwin did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 103 receiving yards.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Basha, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
